Eoin Finn’s Power Yoga for Happiness and Eoin Finn’s Power Yoga for Happiness 2: The Surf Edition:  I really enjoy both of these DVD’s from Vancouver’s Eoin Finn.  Each disc has a bunch of practices of different lengths, the settings are pretty, and Eoin’s teaching style is detailed but laid back.  My favorite quote from one of his practices is “some things you rule at and some things you suck at”.

Shiva Rea’s Daily Energy Vinyasa Flow Yoga: I’ve been using this one a lot lately.  Each practice is short (around 20 minutes) and you can add on additional short meditations, a core practice, forward bends, and/or savasana.  The routines are less dance-y than some of her others.

Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga: Total Body Transformation and Weight Loss with Sadie Nardini: This is a great DVD, especially if you’re interested in burning a lot of calories.  The focus is on initiating movement from the core of the body.

Insight Yoga with Sarah Powers: This is a great Yin Yoga DVD, although there are also more active practices on the disc as well.  There’s a Liver/Gallbladder practice (lots of hip and thigh work) and a Kidney practice (many backbends).  Sarah has a soft voice and provides lots of information about the meridian system and Buddhist philosophy.

Baron Baptiste Live! Soul of Strength:  Baron likes to rhyme a lot, but if you can get past that, this is a wonderful, vigorous practice.  I always feel really relaxed at the end.  Unfortunately, I think this DVD may have been discontinued.
